Life rushes onward
eager for death eternal
life is but a whim.

Life is a bright light
a day time, a flash, a glare
before deaths dark night.

Time drags in prospect
yet gone in a brief heartbeat
retrospectively.

~~~

The Sun bathes my skin
I am warm and calm within
Oh serenity
