aiming it at humanities' folly:

Broken towers,collapsing bodies

followed by... another lethal volley

wielding crosses... worshipping bows.

Smothered by rhetoric and carnage;

truth and justice,blind and sideless

Oil and water,money and power

lands and borders,colors and orders

flags and wreaths,morals and crowns

blood and sand,God and men.
