This book was set in Leavened, 12pt
which was designed by Frank Cossill Jr.
during a period of prodigious arrogance.
He called himself “The Font” and was
known to give out wisdom, as he put it,
for free. “Women are like meningitis.”
He printed a chapbook of his aphorisms
entitled Dark Meat. He was twice married,
twice annulled. Long before his death
at the jaws of a Massey Ferguson thresher
(he considered industrial-scale agriculture
and typesetting interchangeable skills)
Cossill had written and set his gravestone.
In Tunga 20pt it said: Here lies Frank Cossill:
his life was set in 0pt, his bones are sans serif.

Enjoyed this, laughed out loud at the 'Font' line and thought the whole thing was really well put together. Nice ending too.
