Photons

When the sun hits the ground
There's the feintest sound
There are photons splashing carelessley
Through the trees
And over everyone and me.
The birds in the sky
Don't wonder why
Just fly
Easily
And sitting in soft shadows
With marionettes and pillows
She's contented just to be
She says "Follow me
To enchanted fantasy
And crazy happy times"
So I get up and I'm there
In a haze of dreamy smile and song
We dance, dissolve and
Feel like we belong
Upside down
Around the way
It's more or less how we betray
Our foolish feelings
Dealing out sweet sentiments
To each other's sweet heart's content.
