There was a young Gurkha named Bean
Who entered a Burqa he’d seen
But what he thought was a tent
With a rectangular vent
Was HQ for the Mujahadeen.
Of course the young Gurkha named Bean
Made an honest mistake as seen
But a fact I’ve not mentioned
Is the tent he’d not questioned
He’d mistook for an army latrine.
How sad that the Gurkha has died.
Now I simply cannot decide -
If it’s true that the Burqa
Is bad news for a Gurkha
Is that true for the person inside?
Things aren’t always what they may seem.
That's the story of Gurkha Bean.
