I Cannot go on with this show,
nor another act or scene,
i will ot settle for another role,
i cannot forgive what i have seen.
I found the stage to be hollow,
my fellow actor had welded on masks,
i knew their eyes seemed to be dead,
but i that was just the effect i had.
Our cotumes stitched by people just like us,
but their imprisioned by scandalous pay,
elaborate cloaks to hide how plain we are,
and to keep insecurity at bay.
I was determined to seek out the director,
find the answers he might hold,
but he and the writers left long ago,
atleast thats what i was told.
farewell to the audience,
not that there is one even there,
i hope one day this game of charades will end,
and people will become more aware.
