THE LITTLE SNAKE TRUE

As I was going to the shops
I passed a pub; close by
and could almost shake hands
people sitting at the tables
may say Hi!

So close my eyes blinked! and
blinked! again no it can't be
I spied long thin orange
thing! with stripes

I thought! it's made of rubber
but did I see a tongue going
in and out?

I squealed it's not real
Oh! "yes it is! Is it a Grass Snake"
"Oh! no" they said come and feel
as it was passed onto
another's shoulder!
