yep, I read this. I like the idea of all that fighting over a simulacra. But it was really virtue they were fighting over. Something they couldn't possess. I guess there's a bit of the idea of ideal forms thrown in as well. My answer is longer than the poem, but well spotted. I didn't hear the thing on radio 4.
