None Of This Is Real

Oh, I assure you, none of this is real. It seems as if it is, but only because you don't fully understand that. You will, once you join me. When you see the leaves peel up from the crusty street, and you see it like I do, then you might. When you hear the pig squeel of a little girl, then you'll possibly understand. When you see the blue in a red rose, then you're getting it. But again, none of this is real.

When you sit in a lofty stature, and wear a firm leather hat atop your head like I do, then we're headed somewhere. It seems that when you see things through my tired eyes, the downy feathers accumulate on human shoulders, as if they were fallen soldiers.

If you haven't noticed, you and I, are non-existent.

Oh, I assure you, none of this is real. It seems as if it is, but only because you don't have faith in me. Listen close darling, come here. Can you hear my heart beating ever so faintly, and then loudly? It hurts, you know why, its because of you, and now you understand.

When you talk to me, it feels as if my throat is swelling. Well, thats because it is. Now you get it, it's all because of you. Its all because you are here, you were always here. Even if you weren't, because even still, I knew you then. I've always known you.
