Is It a Crime?

How can you love, if never accepted?
When can you go home, if you are constantly rejected?
Is effort enough or do you need some other form of motivation?
Turning to you, never finding anything written on the walls of my salvation?
Leaving a trail of burning paper, when does the end start?
Can there ever be a day when I can see why this mosaic turned out to be my heart?
Is it a crime to love and never be loved in return, denied the life of peace?
Only looking on for just that one lucid sunrise for all this pain to cease.
