half truth in the form of care,
You grit your teeth
behind a hopeful smile to prove you are still there,
Distancing the irrevocable feeling you force a sense of empathy,
To be subsumed by the apathy of my every attempt to make us happy,
Does not even fullfill the tiniest of desires of your seemingly

In vain I give way to each whim to earn a brief moment of reciprocated love,
Only to cause the polarity
of our being reversed my beloved,
Thus it is so to hide behind a prettier mask to face another day,
Hopefully when I decide
to free you
