Shadows to Roads

Never once have I had the bliss of company,
On this road of solitary commitments,
Wherein these shadows reside always attuned,
Like rusted finely tuned instruments,
Playing forth the songs of void,
Dancing with figures who never existed before.
Roads that are hidden in darkness alight,
Intentions of the misused greed,
Before those who had kept me from tranquility,
For the sake of saturating their fears,
Lost did I become when I found shadows of the roads.
Hidden in the backdrops of the dejected,
Here we are aligned in the place devoid of light,
Yet peaceful still we remain reflected,
For here in this moment we learn to be truely happy.
