The wet land
The land is sodden, like a sponge
It cries to be wrung out
But its very heart is wet.
The sea flows from
Root to tip,
Burn to fell,
Crop and catch;
The bog oozes life -
It bleeds the sea

Very evocative of the feel of
Very evocative of the feel of the sodden, saturated boggy land. Felt like the sea oozing up rather than the rain pelting down to fill it! Rhiannon
