This year will be bright and light and full of joy
The last of the winter will be mild
Spring will emerge joyful, verdant
The park across across the street will blossom
The vines that dangle across its walkway laden with fruit
This summer will emerge radiant
An explosion of color
Little boys and girls playing outdoors
Dogs frolicking
Laughter and merriment and past woes forgotten
When autumn comes
It will smoothly usher in
Falling leaves of gold and red
Winter coats and fires to roast
Chestnuts or marshmallows
The winter temperature will drop
But not too much and not too harsh
The rains will come but not flood
The vales and streets and burrows
Where bunnies and hedgehogs rest
