a life in a breath
occasioned by Thomas Hardy Thoughts of Phena (1890)
that delicate essence captured
in a bottle meant for mourning tears
wakens sunshine lotus memories:
the temple garden we discovered
neglected in a forest thicket
and visited at green-mist daybreak
our endless days of wine and loving
stretching like wild-horse open prairies,
violin sonatas at hotel windows
blessing Lake Constanza waters
a raft of memories before…
that pain-wracked long goodbye we togethered
her fragrance, still lingers, in a flask for weeping,
but not a trace more,
‘not a line of her writing - not a thread of her hair.’

academic
Much of your writing seems to be very academic. In anycase you are obviously very talented.
All the best, Nolan

creative writing
I found the key to creative writing is not to take yourself too seriously. Get the idea of the oven but you can use it for a heater in winter.
Cheers Rick take it easy! &&
