Southend
A stationary multicoloured ocean liner.
A mile of gangplank stretching to shore.
The grey angry sea bides its time.
Gulls serf on electric trains carrying humans to the penny arcade.
Cold wind on my face
Your warm hand holding mine.
The top button of my coat pressed into my throat.
Hot dogs, chips and candy floss
Jimi Hendrix
As cool as a cucumber.
A mirror of emotion
A hurricane under perfect control

The Hendrix one is a bit like a Haiku - a snapshot in words. I was - am - a fan too!
