Sometimes we cry
For lost days and lost loves
Sometimes we hide
And look from behind kid gloves
Sometimes we think
And don't like what we see
Sometimes we pray
For life, for you, for me
Sometimes we wake
For sleep is not our friend
Sometimes we shiver
When life feels at an end
But sometimes we look
To what's beyond the pale
And sometimes it's clear
That we won't let us fail
Sometimes the truth
Is easier than the lies
Sometimes we should
Look further than the eyes
And sometimes if we
Realised just for a while
The world is so better
