It was a click; a definite click. There shouldn’t have been a click. There shouldn’t have been any sound; that’s what they’d said. But there was a click and I knew what that meant. They’d told me that too. If there was a click there’d be a… Boom!

the boom can be whatever you want; what i envisioned when i wrote it was a bomb disposal expert. ;)

it would almost be worth leaving the last word out - letting people guess. I really like this one darkenwolf. It's very hard to fit something good into such a small space, but I think you managed it

2nd time I read this I couldn't hold back a laugh ; really good in only 60 words great darkenwolf. I am reading other things as well- don't doubt that. You can cram a lot of reading into one afternoon ;D while the sun is streaming through the window and the afternoon is creeping toward evening- autumn ah
