In search of love! (I.P)

I opened my heart to love you
I loved but then I lost you
You lived awhile in memory
Gone now so nothing left for me
Still I scroll my soul in search of you

In sadness would I scroll down to
The emptiness of a crowded room
Descending always descending
To the longing in my heart
Down to the depths of existence
To the aching pulse of my soul
Until finally coming at last to rest
In the nothingness that fills a void

I'm not up to speed on my IPs but enjoyed seeing you do a bit of poetry. We have all loved and lost at one point. Nice one.

Moya, I liked it. I wouldn't worry about there being good poets on the site. Everything has a place. My poetry is rather silly and childlike as opposed to some of the really good deep stuff on the site. But heh, thats what makes the site so good. Everone's different. Everyone has their own style. As I said before, i really liked it. So well done you!

I like it too, it has a nice pace and I can certainly relate to the feelings of desolation and heartbreak.

new Oldpesky I absolutely agree with you, and Jolono,and Shoe. It is a site,where anything goes. Wait for my next one any day soon? not perfectly,written or comments for me. But like 'Denzella' just how one feels? We are all different people the way we think! All of us have been there too. All Denzella says and much more too! The mind is a very complicated thing. I know we recieve things so differently. But if someone can laugh! or cry! over mine, I know I am improving,I forget with age,where the apostrophe's go,and what is capitals and what is not? And really,we all get off days! My two hubby and daughter so different my,personality. Quick! thinking intellectually, in all I do and say? Makes me feel like a two year old. No one is better than anyone else,just be kind. love is all! True! what oldpesky says! Just had a bit of a dream,waking up. Papers gloomy things,and all on tv. Nothing is private anymore!
