Step on a moon stone to cross the stream -
Van Gogh’s Starry Night - willow flowers
pollen halo’d in swirling water.dark.
Sun-coin's cloud-pursed. In lambent air, all
colours quicken, shine : evening's golden
syrup hanging from a silver spoon.
Soft rush-reaches, an upturned brush, bleached
peach. Gorse lava bursts through field-seams, far
and near while paisley moss, lush dark green
over lime and old orange, rain rich
shawls path free and up slender birches’
opal trunks where turquoise lichen clings
