I see you, sitting there
From the corner of my eye.
I want to get to know you,
I can't you see, I'm shy.
I'd love to walk up to you,
Take you by the hand,
And stroll through fragrant countryside,
Or make love in dunes of sand.
But you don't even know my name,
So again I merely sigh.
I see you rise once more to go,
Oh why am I so shy?

I see you often watching me,
You don't think that I know,
I see your shoulders fall once more,
When I arise to go.
Today will be a different day,
I'm not about to leave.
I'll walk up to your table,
And say what? I can't conceive.
With faltering steps I make my way,
Along your tables row,
I sit down right in front of you,
And smile and say, hello..
