Silver Shoes

You stand so tall,
firm,
the muscles in your shoulders bulging,
your legs carved out of stone.
Your eyes are dark and you blink lazily,
you chew the grass as you watch me.
What i wouldn't give
for one minute with your stature, your grace,
hurtling through the forest,
leaping rivers and streams in silver shoes.
