Feet tread through grass thats Emerald green
Sponge like ground will carress my toes
I wander down a path so shrewd
That only nature hears my call
My words fall out on deafened ears
The stillness covers all my weight
Till only shadows take me home
To end my toil of faithless grief.
Awake now and the dreading comes
A day so long the sky yawns black
The night may come but not till then
Will I settle in my stately throne
I whisper to the clouds above
Please take away this sterile curse
Make me whole like other are
But no, the fields burn at my touch
The thorns strike deep as i wander on
Too much to take as blood runs down
I pray again for night to take
Me back to Emerald grass so green.

Just a few two second typos, nothing major.
I didn't like this as much as first hug, that blew me away, but it's still an enjoyable read. I like the first two stanzas. Next door's tom is calling for my girl's to come out and play at night, I think I'll read this to him.
