She moves like raindrops on windows
Slowly sliding her way through the crowd
Stopping only to look at beautiful things
That shine from their hiding places
She glides elegantly past me
Never once glancing my way
Far too pristine to get close to
Then gone like overnight snow.
In my dreams she stops and smiles
Her smile a vision of my imaginary heaven
We talk, embrace, then kiss
But not today. today she's gone.
