Tom was taken to the daycentre on alternate days; but stayed briefly. There followed the ritual administration of notes from home; problems encountered or appointments to keep. It was essential to know the schedule of all the clients. If a staff member was ill then Belle, who worked in administration at the front office needed to know. Her office was at the front office and the front door. It was here that clients, carers or taxi drivers would press hard the front door-bell. Most support workers knew the door code to get in.
Everyone was kept safe. It was hoped that clients, who could easily be a risk to themselves or to others would be contained within the walls of this; there second home.
I want to go to school today Malcolm, shouted Tom, as Malcolm searched for his wallet.
