Blatherskites telling tales,

untruths, typing rumours

sent into the ether

wearing the clothes of facts -

though a single tug

at the loose thread

would unravel them all,

if only someone

dared.

So many Emperors

exposing themselves

indecently for the sake

of power, is there not

one observant child

with finger pointed

to save us from these

fools?

The strident hooligans

bestir the howling mob

to threaten lives,wives

and unborn children.

Shouting politicians

encouraged by left,

right and a soft centre,

fiddle while home

burns.
