See them.
All shapes and sizes:
from seaside-postcard fat
to Serbiana Ana Reksič.
All confident, the Good Fairy’s gift
to all Spaniards in the cradle.
See them.
From Juan to Pepe,
pork-belly carried proud
in confident strut and strolling
down the Playa de la Chata.
See Dad
run down the beachfront,
from sand-drawn start point
to weekend son-chosen finish,
racing with his first born-son.
See Mum,
smoking and joking
with Pepa, Mari or
any former workmate,
la niña playing hopscotch
until the tide washes the lines.

What a wonderful picture
What a wonderful picture Ewan. I don't understand any of the Spanish but the image did come across very well.

Love the first stanza; really sets the scene...the rest just falls into place. [still wish I was there]
