We are the hollow men?

Haha! No, full are we,

full of bile and spleen,

the seeming hides the seething

and the seething keeps us breathing.

 

We are the unloved men!

Tada! So, dull are we,

dull as known and seen,

the seeming hides the seething

and the seething keeps us breathing.

 

We are the quiet men.

Voila! Look! Small are we,

small of height and mind,

the seeming hides the seething

and the seething keeps us breathing.

Seems a great cynicism that bitterness keeps alive and gives a sense of purpose. A feeling of being despised and no sense of being valued. Forget those who despise (or are thought to despise?) and go, do good, and find appreciation! Rhannon
