Molly, dearest, sub me a pound,
I´ve just been mugged on the Underground.
No call for the filth, yes that´s best:
not after last week´s resisting arrest.
Better still make it two,
or three pounds fifty that´ll do!
Have a look in your longest pocket,
amongst the dog-ends and old bus tickets.
Go on Molly, lend us a fiver
I´ll treat us both to a bottle of cider.
