Phoenix Night

I worry, no, I do:
what if it isn’t actually true?
A complex, funny twist of fate,
if this news turns out to be just as fake.
A lonely death with no-one close,
prescription drugs, an overdose.
What a terrible thing, remorse!
This man delivered us Trump, of course.
Still, it is so terribly young,
the end of his song remains unsung,
and anyone’s death is a terrible loss,
but did he try to get across
why he gave us the orange goat?
Did he leave a suicide note?
And if he deigned to leave us one,
and I'm quite sure he hasn’t done;
it would have been just, or even wise,
to write “I do apologise”.

His brother has been saying
His brother has been saying that he did it all as satire, and it was meant to show people they should think about what they read and check it. I suppose we'll never know. It is, as you say, incredibly sad that someone so young should die, from an accidental overdose they seem to think.

We express our feelings
We express our feelings perfectly than through the art of poetry. Though a poignant read, both the rhythm and rhyme are spot on. Would love to hear this read out loud.
