You’re the Metaphor Mixer, I’m the Dadaist Dad.

You alliterate asshole, I’m in the trobar trap,

You look inward, I look out,

you think I’m ignorant of what it’s all about.

You shout cat-calls, I just clap,

You stain paper, I gild screens,

You think no-one understands what it means.

You write collections, I write a chap,

let’s get together for the poetry rap.

Your work’s wonderful, mine just stinks,

you puzzle over enjambement links.

Your sylleptic shit fills my zeugma gap,
