Resolution No. 9

I don't smoke,
and I like to drink,
I'm too fond of meat
to give it up, I think.
Life's too short
to go on a run,
at least while I weigh
a twelfth of a ton.
And I'm nice
enough, well - I suppose -
to people I know
or at least some of those.
No, I'm perfect,
it's the rest that are not,
but I'm not truly happy
with this meagre lot.
So, after duty-free consideration,
this is how I'll change my situation:
Not for me a resolution,
I'll trade mine in, for a revolution.
