Firstly, do not panic.

Panic is only recommended

for the sick,

for the hungry,

for the poor.

 

Do try not to waste food.

Keep portions small.

It is possible freezing

leftovers may no longer

be an option.

 

Freezing in general

may occur in social housing

and the private rental sector.

We recommend you

own your own house

 

and reliable horses

for transportation purposes

and in case of food shortages,

which we expect only

in dire circumstances.

 

The police may be prepared

to overlook firearms incidents,

if you have enough money

and the victim can be proven

to have none.

 

You may store

and you may save:

stockpiling is forbidden

unless you can prove

you voted leave.

this must be perfect satire, funny and frightening and possible, best thing I have read about it. I hope history does not find the only good to come from it is the arguments against

old it's my mum I'm asking for advice, as she had been married for a year and had my eldest brother by the time rationing ended in 1954. Unfortunately, her memory isn't what it was.

Yep, Make Do And Mend, stay calm and eat your potatoes... Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

It is kind of intriguing that trying to get out of Europe might reduce us to the same state fighting Europe did, maybe they hope to achieve the blitz spirit. But it seems the dictator and his goebels are on our side, and all the harm we will suffer we will do to ourselves. And all the time the real battle against climate change/our greed and apathy, is unfought

 it hard to believe they reference the bulldog spirit, plucky Britain stuff so often. Boris's posturing trying to position himself as some kind of latter-day Churchill, - a deeply flawed man- is risible.
