Without leaving home,
watching them leaving the house:
but it's not the same.
II
Pairs of lovers just before
gEtting angry and the flounce
of One into the distance
stePping heels down head forward
swelLing eyes leaking tears
the peEp show just for me
hot croWds panting for trains
coming lAter than expected
each togeTher yet still separate
bodies catChing nail on wool
irritated cHafing one against the other
no-one's watchIng dreading
that ocular coNtact that might
shatter this so Grand illusion of being alone

People watching me
are often disappointed
that I’m watching them.

I like the 2 'wing-borders',
I like the 2 'wing-borders', and the man section is quite skilful to get the wanted letters just so. I know when I have tried doing rigidly-ruled poetry with consonant patterns as is popular in Welsh, how tricky it is to do so and keep the 'story' going. Rhiannon
