Hypocrisy

I feel a fear
and a tear falls from my eye;
The thought of life's love lost fresh in my heart...

Tomorrow beckons from a far,
with hope I clamber through the dark,
towards the light of my future's early dawn...

Could this heart be the answer?
Will I feel enough to learn once more?
To live and love and dream....?

Through the open door of eternal reflections,
Youth intoxicates my soul;
Loneliness and laughter my only friends...

Close your eyes my friends , let us be alone...

The sun now warms my fear ,
but it is here , it waits for me...
At night it creeps through my veins
and dominates my mind...

What right does it have to infest my soul as I sleep?

As I open my eyes , I feel the truth in my heart...
It is there , behind the fear
It looks at me..
It smiles...
Calling me through my past and beyond
Does it care?
For me?
For you?
Can we trust our truth?

Truth cares for all in it's hurtful solitude
Truth is kind yet cruel,
Truth is brutal in it's compassion,
Truth loves with a passion and fears not the hurt...

Do you see the path of courage that winds
through the forest of your future...?
See it, feel it...?
I do.
It is there...
For you,
For me...

Be true to yourself my vacant shadow...
Take the first step
Run , don't walk...

Close your eyes....and as panic blinds our path...

The light will shine through the leaves and guide us to our destiny.

Believe in you
Believe in me
Believe in our hypocrisy.
