You leave
again
and there is silence
in my world.
As your smiles gently drift
to the ground,
I curl up; No sound.
Just thoughts of you.
Beautiful thoughts of love,
laughter , tears;
Happy thoughts
of years
gone by.

Sighs of life
shadow my lonely existence.

surround my very being.

and little concerns;

and kissed your feet

to heaven

My beautiful children

My fears
fall from heaven
and grace my cheek
with memories of you.
Delightfully they fall
and I taste the sweet joy of your love on my lips.
Then
you return
to fill my soulful cup once more,
with warmth and ignorance.
You appear.
Briefly,
all fear is gone.
You are here

Replenishing all hope I have in life.
The pain subsides
for a few precious hours
