The Whispering Winds Of Hate
Rumours whispered on the wind
Hissing venom of words untrue
Pierce her weather-beaten watery soul
Hailstone hardness hits the heart
Faceless, frozen shoulders
Now colder than the ice
Eject the innocent from the pack
One misunderstood meaning
Seals her fate
A storm in a teacup?
No sunny-smiled reconciliation
In desert isolation
Wrongly convicted
By the howling winds
From the pack of hate

Chilling, how easy to hurt,
Chilling, how easy to hurt, harm, damage, isolate and worse. The weather similes as apt. A hand and smile reaching out can warm and heal. Rhiannon
