If Someone

If someone could smile
If someone could laugh
If someone could get over their terrible past.
If someone could marvel at something great.
If someone could have patience and find time to just wait.
If someone could linger or mingle with strangers.
If some people weren't pessimistic and afraid of danger.
If everyone was happy, and joyful and great.
and if everyone had time to just sit and wait.
Imagine our world, imagine what would bloom.
The world would be different, this I assume.
But the world is different and confusing and scary.
Sure we get predicaments that can be hairy.
So lets all freaking toast to the world and throw in a kiss.
Cause thats the world, it is what we have to live with.
