Buzz words

A long time ago, just after “Once upon a Time”, but before “Hello Grandad,” young office managers invented a system of communication that made them sound very important, but didn’t really mean anything.

I found a buzz word chart the other day and composed this poem to illustrate the point to the younger generation:-

Integrated transitional mobility
I think you’ll all agree
Is the functional logic based system
Just for you and me

Compatible fifth generation hardware
Must be everybody’s aim
Though the product configuration base line
Should always be the same

In particular a large portion
Of interface communication
Would simplify all those involved in
Test programme implication

A resultant overriding constraint
Adds explicit performance limits to
The initiation of subsystem development
As all of us should do

Any discrete configuration mode
Affects the total system rationale
The philosophy of communication
Utilises the functionality of us all

Now all of this is garbage
As I hope you’ll all agree
But management should be impressed
By my parallel correlative mobility.
