Fuzzybears

Deep in the tulgey forest in the shadows of the glade
Lies a hidden magic copse, where all love and dreams are made
And tinkling through the dappled sunlight flows a little brook
Where all the laughs and giggles flow, if you want to take a look
But beside this copse of happiness, there sits a fetid cave
Where the beasts of doubt and spite reside and there they sit and crave
The chance to step into the light, and crush your joys and hopes
To taint your dreams with bile and poison and fill your head with mopes
The sun and moon shine and the rain falls on the lovely copse to glisten
The magic trees and singing streams, which lift the heart, take a listen
To the birdsong and the chirrup of the insects in the wood
And the grunting whines of the caved beasts, who'd eat them if they could
Sometimes the vile brutes escape and fill the world with woe
With loneliness, unhappiness and miseries who know
Feck all of happy loveliness, of fun and joy and sauce
Of holidays, of weekends, of rumpy or falling off a horse
But the new moon rises and in the wood, a favourite awakes
He grabs the beasts and beats them up and throws them in the lakes
Where they are swept through cold, dark seas back to the caves and there
They are once more protected, by the awoken fuzzy bears!
