“Just a heads up, the Ministry of Defence has been told to be on standby for complete UK lockdown as of Sunday evening 6pm. No one is to leave their homes unless they work in Front Line Retail or the NHS.”
I heard this directly from my neighbour Trigger who is best friends with a guy called Boycie. Boycie knows a guy named Del who drinks down the pub with his uncle Albert. Albert was in the Navy during the war, so knows his stuff.” From Facebook.
Yesterday was Mother’s Day with a difference. We have never had a Mother’s Day like it, and hopefully won’t again.
One co-worker who has been forced to finish work as she is eighty years old, had her Son drop off food for her in the porch, she is a widow so spent the day alone. I sent her a text to wish her a, “Happy Mother’s Day.” I can’t imagine anything was happy about it.
Another Mum is unwell in bed I have sent her texts too every day, she hasn’t got ‘IT’ she is a fantastic volunteer for charities and the poor, thankfully she has many people near her to help her. Worrying times.
I saw videos of crowds, of hundreds of people still panic buying on a Sunday morning! They are going to be in so much debt when this is all over! The amount of food they will have to throw away!
Me, I had a lovely day off/Mother’s Day yesterday. I had my favourite sweets, Jelly Babies, Black Magic and Ferrero collection and a larger Ferrero, so two lots. My Daughter also got me £30 voucher to spend at my favourite shop in the World (Which is closed at the moment) a mug and blow up balloon with the word, “Mum,” and my Son got me the Ferrero Collection as mentioned above and £50 cash with flowers the price still on £10 and a special selection of individually sealed cakes in a lovely Mother’s Day presentation Box. I said to both my Children, “Can’t you just give me the money instead, or a voucher from my favourite shop in the World?” And both their replies were, “If we didn’t give you the flowers, balloon, Black Magic chocolates Jelly Babies Ferrero Collection and other Ferrero, mug, then you would only have the £50 cash/£30 voucher.” So, I am grateful for it all, they were very happy to buy it for me and I was and am happy to receive it.
It was announced on the news last night one of my favourite shops is closing, McDonalds!
Yesterday had a tinge of sadness, a good friend of mine one of her friends, who I have met once many, many, years ago was rushed to hospital with the coronavirus and it was touch and go if he was going to make it to the hospital! Late last night heard he is stable. He is in my thoughts and prayers.
Keep safe. x

There's a lot of all that
There's a lot of all that going around. I do hope your friend's friend will be well. As you say, let's hope we have some sort of normality back by this time next year!

I'm sure Triigger told Boycey
I'm sure Triigger told Boycey, who told someone I know that the virus was engineered. I'm not sure the reasoning for this, who exactly gains from this? I'm sure it's a James Bond type villain who strokes a cat and has a cunning plan.
