OZZY MANDERS
An old ceroqueur from a northern town,
Said, “London women all have hearts of stone;
When asked to dance those hinnies turn me down.”
And with this moan he wandered off alone.
I saw him later drinking Newky Brown,
With fallen face, like grief made absolute;
Ten empty bottles rolled around the bar,
And he was pissed as the proverbial newt.
A sudden yell rang out and all did stare.
“My name is Ozzy Manders, dancing star;
Look to my feet, you Cockneys, and despair!”
Then crashing in a heap, he spoke no more.
Now little of that scene remains, save where
A yellow puddle spreads across the floor.
