The Change We Need

If anything, I'd change the way I react to certain circumstances. I'd change the way I procrastinate, which is to not procrastinate at all. I'd change how I settle everything in the living room even if I had my own room. I'd change the way I push boys away, hoping they'll come back if they'll really have me. I'd change the way I think people will fight for love. I'd change how people don't fight for love because they think that if it was meant to be, then it'll come to them while they're just sitting around. If that's the case, I'd change the definition of destiny. I'd change the definition of fate. I'll change it so everyone has faith and good thoughts. I'd change my thoughts as I wake up in the morning. I'd change my thoughts I think at night. I'd change my clothes.
I'd change the way I respond to my parents. I'd change the fact I take my brother for granted. I'd change my relationship with my brother and make us like one of the closest set of siblings the word's ever seen. I'd change it so that when we pass by each other, we actually say hi or make faces. I'd change it so that we can prove the other exists without the evidence of captions or characters on YouTube. I'd change how I treat my family. I'd change how my relatives treat other relatives. I'd change the lack of contact between my brother and me and our cousins. I'd change the closeness between us and the rest of the family. I'd change and eliminate the language barrier blocking my cousins of my age in the Philippines. I'd change the disadvantages of third-world countries.
I'd change the train of thoughts for those who believe obstacles weaken and enervate people so much. I'd change their philosophy because tough trials and obstacles create strong character. I'd change how sometimes life isn't like that and creates not a strong human being, but a monster. I'd change how bullies treat their victims. I'd take away the definition of a bully. I'd forever change and rid the world of any bullies. I'd change the way loud and obnoxious people view themselves. I'd change the way the meek and sensitive view others. I'd change the way people exert hubris. I'd change the way people lack self-confidence. I'd change those who are scared and teach them to be proud.
I'd change the course of the war. I'd change the course of the stock market. I'd change the course of each and every global issue we have. I'd change immigration regulations. I'd change the way African lives are being lived. I'd change the way all third world lives are lived. I'd change the current progress in cures for cancer and make them speed up. I'd change the spread of AIDS, HIV, and STD by slowing it down. I'd change the population number. I'd change the definition of marriage. I'd change amounts of oil use. I'd change water filters. I'd change gas, burning, and fossil fuel use. I'd change the temperature.
I'd change my route in life right now, because college will be tough with the money problems. I'd make change to support the less gifted, less capable, less privileged, less lived. I'd change their rags to riches. I'd change pocket change to wallet change to economic change to social change. We need political change. We need societal change.
I'd change the way people live and are let live. I'd change the world, because the world's changed me.
And I'll change my mind, because tyranny is never a good idea.
