A view of two towers,
A cathedral scene,
Outlook in this garden green.
Shakespeare has his place in here,
In the maze I'm lost I fear.
A moat-pool borders empty fields,
To where does winding pathway lead.
Behind brick walls the sun shines in,
A place to be with kith and kin.
And fragrant is this special place,
Old fashioned roses fill the space.
Poppies, daisies and golden rod,
Fill the ground of well-turned sod.
Peace and calm have touched the air,
So warm and still, so free from care.
Dappled sunlight filters through,
A pleasant place - a garden view.
