Tom Daley I am not when I take the plunge
preferring a belly flop or a bomb
just to say I'm there
just so people take notice
but they can hurt
and that's why I do it again
maybe this time higher still
it makes me so alive
the buzz
the joy

I love the metaphor of the 'high board', hoalarg. Not till right at the end did I twig;-) Good stuff. Enjoyed...and by the way not so much of a belly-flop as a swallow-dive to be proud of, I think. Tina;-)
