There, you gaze
your honey curls
foxtrot these summer breezes
under this star’s light
sponging kaleidoscopic colours to
a memory heaven
Here, you stand taller than I ever could
with wonder in your eyes
skimming thoughts like pebbles
which break the backs of white horses
and together we ride, beeline to a skyline
to tame depths I never knew
