You'll find me

You'll find me counter-balancing the opposites,
at the core of all experiences
and in the dark, underneath the objects you
bang into
and on the other side of good and bad.
You'll find me in mirrors reflecting your truth,
in dreams,
in the tears streaming your face,
and the fear stopping you from breathing
and within new love you have felt.
You'll find me where you can't look,
lodged beneath stones you walk over
and in your reactions that you continue to numb,
and there amidst the rainbow's colours.
You'll find me in birds' song, whispering,
down dead end streets and in bins
especially in bins
and in the twilight of your muddled thoughts
and in anger bottled since birth.
You'll find me on trafficless roads,
during the rush hour, beeping impatiently,
and when you suddenly begin to relinquish control
and then in the heart of the unwelcome visitor knocking at your door.
You'll find me if you want to,
and only then.
