It won’t hurt forever.

Smile,
Laugh,
it will change everything.

A smile will lift the pain,
It will fly away on the wing of a bird.
A game bird
With a shot through its wing.

It’s all right.

It will recover.

I like the simplicity of this poem icetea - really effective. The last stanza -so few words, but they say so much - well done
