One Thump

This road I take to Hell
Is nothing but my street
This end until I fell
Tripped over my feet

You hear them howl like wolves
Laughing as you rise
Acting drunken fools
You’re in for a surprise

4 of them, they walk
Towards your shaken body
No time left to talk
One punch and it’s gone foggy

One thump is all it took
To knock me out damn good
Just some stupid little fuck
Who should’ve run when I could?

A neighbour will soon show
It will be my chance to shine
Who’s that doggy in the window
To hear my pine

Later the sirens blast
They lift me from my place
No heart beating fast
This life’s become a race

Mother holds my hand
As I lay there weeping
My body trampled like sand
No time for sleeping

One year later calling
I always watch my feet
To stop myself from falling
So no reason to beat

One fall was all it took
To make me feel like this
4 stupid little fucks
Who nobody would miss

At least now I can live
While 4 boys they judge amiss
