An Untimely End

The streets were wet and cold with the rain that had just misted down from the ominous clouds. Her feet pounded against the asphalt bringing her closer to her victim with every step. As she lurched forward in pursuit her jet black hair whisked in the slight breeze. Her pale complexion was slightly flushed from the vigorous movements being made by her built but fragile body. Her emerald eyes shimmered in the moonlight; she looked upward toward the dark sky trying to shut out the feeling of adrenaline coursing through her veins. Her mind wanders. She ponders through thoughts and memories of her mother. Necrose; the same mother who abandoned her for the world to engulf in its menacing, blood dripping claws. Genesai knew what her mother did to her but she couldn't stop loving her. Necrose left Genesai to fend for her life. Genesai was left alone and cold on the dark, menacing steps of the morgue. The baby was raised around death and killing. Since she was a wee child she was assisting with weighing the organs of the dead. She was death in the flesh. She was taught the art of murder and how not to get caught. After all, the morticians needed business somehow.
